Our Mission

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life around Coro Lake and its surrounding neighborhoods. Just as the beauty and well being of the lake is connected to the aquifer, streams, and wetlands that feed it, so we believe all living beings are connected to, and dependent upon, one another. To protect our waters, we advocate against excessive development and environmentally unsound projects like the Byhalia Pipeline. To improve our neighborhood, we stage cleanups, fight blight, and tend to stray animals through fostering, adoption, and spay/neuter. To better our community, we look after our neighbors in need, providing meals to the sick and shut-in, and food and clothing to the homeless.
